The 2021 Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit provides a historic opportunity to transform the way the world tackles the global challenge of malnutrition.
Nutrition for Growth (N4G) is a global pledging moment to drive greater action toward ending malnutrition. Over the past decade, the governments of the United Kingdom, Brazil and Japan have each taken action to mobilize N4G nutrition commitments.
The 2021 Tokyo Nutrition for Growth Summit will be held on December 7 and 8, 2021. The Summit will have three focus areas, each identified as critical to achieving global development targets and ending malnutrition:
Health — Integrating nutrition into global health coverage.
Food — Transforming the food system so that it promotes the growth and consumption of safe, sustainable and healthy foods.
Resilience — Effectively addressing malnutrition in fragile and conflict-affected contexts.
