Join panelists from TANGO International and USAID for a presentation of the key findings from the RISE I (Resilience in the Sahel Enhanced) recurrent monitoring survey (RMS).
RISE is a five-year (2015–2020), USAID-funded program with the goal of strengthening the ability of chronically vulnerable agro-pastoral and agricultural populations to recover from shocks. The program is taking place in targeted zones of Burkina Faso and Niger.
In response to increased climate shocks and an influx of violent extremism in 2018, a recurrent monitoring survey was launched to understand the nature and evolution of shocks, how they affected households’ well-being, and how households coped.
This event is for humanitarian and development practitioners who support or are interested in resilience programming in the Sahel or neighboring West African countries. The session will be held in English with an option for simultaneous interpretation in French. Presentation materials in both English and French will be shared with all registered participants in advance of the webinar.
