Recovering from COVID-19 impacts are not enough. Explore what resilience means in the COVID-19 influenced world.
COVID-19’s worldwide sweep has underscored that recovering from the impacts of COVID-19 isn’t enough. As USAID and other donors assess COVID-19’s implications for future shocks, it is urgent that programs strive to build resilient systems and institutions where we work. How do we know if our development outcomes across sectors are strengthening resilience capacities at the individual, household, community and systems level?
This webinar will explore what resilience means in the COVID-19 influenced world from the perspective of both measurement and outcomes; provide case examples; and highlight current tools, methods and resources program planners and implementers can access.
Panelists: Greg Collins, USAID; Kerry Peltzman, USAID; Dorine Genga, USAID/Kenya; Ruth Madison, USAID; Tim Frankenberger, Tango International; Nancy Mock, Tulane University School of Public Health; Jasbir Kaur, ICF; Molly Hellmuth, ICF
